He had a sprain in his right hind, too.
Going to save him?
I suspect that he will be saved.
But the degree of his injury has not been fully revealed.
Let us know if you read any updates on his condition. Hoping he'll be able to go to stud.

Silk Horse Club has just said, ''If the vet permits, he will leave from Hong Kong on Dec 15th. And he is slated to be quarantined at Miki Horse Land Park in Hyogo Prefecture. He will have a detailed examination in Japan and we will update his condition later.''

So it sounds like that his injury was NOT life-threatening.

He apparently fractured part of his knee. Depending on which bone and how badly smashed, they could usually pin it.
I'm not an expert at all in this field.
But they now say Pixie Knight had a chip fracture in his radial carpal bone.

I'm far from an expert, either, but it sounds like Pixie Knight might even be able to race on. Fingers crossed for him.

I don't know how these guys just get back up and ride after being in a race like that. I'd have to take a week off or more. Jockey are such incredible athletes.
Just the mental aspect of it would knock me out. Hats off to jockeys.

Now I think I can get back to normal with a usual updates. :D

Circle of Life(JPN), 2019F. Epiphaneia(JPN) x Sea Breeze Life(JPN) by Admire Japan(JPN), became the two-years-old champion filly under Mirco Demuro in the G1 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies 1600m turf at Hanshin on Dec 12th 2021!! :D
She is bred by Masatake Iida's Chiyoda Farm, and trained by Sakae Kunieda who had Almond Eye.
Epiphaneia shows why he is the most expensive stallion at stud in Japan right now!!
And this is the first time Admire Japan(JPN)(Sunday Silence), as a broodmare sire, is represented by a G1 winner.

Agree--the freaky Blue Grass win didn't hold up, but he obviously had talent and the Japanese recognized the possibility. Old Trieste was a real loss to breeding. Very talented with a valuable pedigree.

I agree, too!!

In the meantime, JRA Sire-Ranking for 2yos is very hot!!!
We really don't know who will win this title until the G1 Hopeful Stakes on Dec 28th.
Epiphaneia is leading now. But Deep Impact sends a few favorites in the Hopeful Stakes.

Here below is the JRA Sire Ranking for 2yos as of Dec 19th. (Money earned in NAR races are not included)
