I think that run might have made Mr Hot Stuff an Eclipse winner.

Colonel John doesn't hold snuff to his "little" brother, imho. Hell of a horse to compete so long and over the fences.

Contingent(GB), 2015F. Frankel(GB) x Proportional(GB) by Beat Hollow(GB), cruised to an impressive debut victory at Leopardstown on Oct 22nd 2017 and earned TDN Rising Star. :D

Her dam Proportional was the first G1 winner for my favorite Beat Hollow.

Miner's Cat winning with her silks was a fitting way to honor Beverly Lewis, who just passed away at 90.

Yeah, I put the article up in the "In Memoriam" thread

I hope to see the silks again- wondering if Jeff and the Trust will continue racing. Some of the younger stock could be dispersed, but Serena herself is pensioned- thinking that there is a provision for her to spend her golden years @ Denali.

Super Feather (2yo colt out of Awesome Feather (USA)) won his debut, 1800m turf (good), at Kyoto today. He seemed to be hesitant to go forward on the wet ground (another typhoon approaching!) until the final corner, and yet showed a powerful, quick acceleration in the stretch to hold off the 3rd favorite to win comfortably.

Thanks for sharing. The Feather is an all-time favorite.

And if anyone locates a pic of Stephanie's Kitten's foal, please post. It's like they're in the witness protection program.

I'm so pleased these G1W mares they've purchased in the US are really starting to pay off.

Satono Saltus (2yo colt out of Island Fashion (USA)) won his debut at Tokyo today, 1800m turf (soft to heavy, plagued with typhoons two consecutive weekends), narrowly beating (a head) the 2nd fav, Dark Night Moon. 3rd was Garradd (out of Gaviola(USA)), who is equally promising.

The grey colt is the best among dam's JPN-bred progeny so far (just my biased, non-expert view based on his brilliant workouts with Neorealism), and I've looked forward to seeing a runaway debut, so am a bit disappointed as well as relieved at the same time.
