I know he isn't from Japan but should Japan be the hunch bet in the Turf?

I'm definitely side-eying the way Private Mission went wide on the first turn, that might have been a bit too much chaos. But if the plan was to win the race, it surely backfired. That was one of the most toxic paces I've ever seen, absolutely demolished every single horse up there.

Good on Irad for just easing up on Letruska there.

Bolshoi Ballet at 40-1 is kind of insane. I don't really bet... but if I did....

Btw, it looks like Hot Rod Charlie will go favored in the Classic. Big favorite in the Juvenile and Tarnawa doubles. Guess he's no secret today, unfortunately...

I've got to switch from TVG back to NBCSN - if I hear that idiot Dave Weaver call Tarnawa "he" and "him" one more time, I'm going to throw something.

Beauty contest is a close call between Bolshoi Ballet and Japan. Hope they run to their looks.

I'm sure that Orfevre will be given a better group of broodmares next year, too. ;)

Appleby has like a 60% win rate at the Breeders' Cup, absolutely wild.

20 years ago I would have scoffed at the notion of preferring turf racing. I guess we all grow up sometime.

EQ being bet down to the heavy favorite in the Classic, hmmm?
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Maybe controversial but this might be my favorite Breeder's Cup with the Japanese winning and not seeing the favorites win much
