Best to wait until after a Triple Crown race, or two, or three
I’m more interested in Democrat, the other Baffert. What are the odds he’d have a horse in with that name with no bullet works? Bet the farm! But I wonder, does he not switch to his right lead? If he wins will the other horses demand a recount and all go into the winner’s circle?
He went back in the basement today.
He’s not allowed in the bunker.

The week of December 14th, after the CHRB votes, there's a great maiden race at Los Alamitos, patience!
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

As many as are necessary on any given day.

Life Is Good
2 C Into Mischief - Beach Walk

Running in the 2nd at Del Mar today.
The West's sold him at Kee-Sep for $525,000
Baffert gifted @mikeesmith10 the saddle Bob’s dad made for him when he first started as a quarter horse jockey.

Mike chose to use it aboard Life Is Good. Looked like a smooth ride.

Laobanonaprayer, 2018 f. (Laoban - Raffie's Chance, by Raffie's Majesty)

Sorry if her name has already been mentioned somewhere, I tried to do a forum search and it honestly said, "The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: laobanonaprayer." hahahaha I really doubt that.

Doug O'Neill has a colt by Half Ours out of an Into Mischief mare; he's named "No Pedigree," which seems a little harsh.

Half a Pedigree would make more sense. Into Mischief on the bottom has to count for something. He could have also considered Half Chief, which, while not terribly original, would sound very good in a race call.

Kneedeepinsnow (Flat Out x Michelleinhearts) He's an adorable chestnut with high socks, of course. :D
Wilson to Lockett (Abraaj x Firetrail) I am ashamed to say I did not figure out this was a Seahawks reference until the Emerald Downs handicapper mentioned it. :P

And clever yet cringy:
Myuddermamasapaint (Haynesfield x In Vitro) He shoulda stayed Baby Haynes... The EMD announcer and handicapper chuckled about how much they had to practice his name before his first race!

I had read that Myuddermamasapaint got the name because he was an orphan foal, and his nurse mare was actually a paint mare. I can’t remember where I read the story, but when I saw the name I thought it was great.

His story was turned into a children's book called 'Baby Haynes', written by his breeder Tim Floyd.
