She feels Pretty blew the doors off in this race- outfitted with Blinkers she won by at least 6 lengths- I love that she is owned by Lael Stables

Yes, and I really like the inbreeding to Halo and Woodman.tachyon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2024 9:36 pmWow! She was very impressive!!barbaro111 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2024 7:55 pm https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing ... n-qeii-cup

I think it was getting lost in the summer now that it’s no longer linked to the Acorn and CCA Oaks. This is a more viable way to get a good field as it draws fillies not quite BC material.Flanders wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 11:09 pmngl I saw the stakes name and thought I clicked back about 5 months ago. I was shocked, TBH, because I still don’t really think she wants this far, but reading Prat’s quotes, maybe different tactics made the difference. I love that he used her best asset, speed - and stopped trying to make her a closer (I have a horse I follow who is frustrating because the great trainer rarely uses her speed, lol)
She even lost a shoe!
No quotes from Brad in this DRF article, but I imagine she’s done for the year - at least, that’s what I would do

She’s priceless already, bring a multiple GSW daughter of Bernardini…but winning a G1 would be the cherry on the sundae
