Siete C (Unbridled's Song x Charming) is in R2 at GP on Sat, which will be his turf debut. He's previously tried dirt 3x. His dam, the first foal of Take Charge Lady, was an expensive yearling purchase and highly regarded until she was injured.

He ran well, seemed to like the turf. Wasn't going to catch the winner, Lochte, but was a respectable 2nd. Profound (Street Cry x Hollywood Wildcat) was next-to-last in the race, also.

Equibase 120. Zaikov can run. He is running too fast on dirt to try the turf. lol Have to think Pletcher has another gray for the Met Mile.

Watchmaker, a promising 3yo Curlin colt out of Added Time (Gilded Time), worked 3F in 36:45 at Gulfstream in the mud (7/15).

He used to be with Casse. Not sure if he still is. Late last year he was already a massive colt so he was given time off to grow.

So he's 1/2 to Irish Smoke.

In that same race, I had been hoping that Tiffany's Honour, a daughter of the great broodmare Better Than Honour, would do better...but finished last.

He'll try again on Sunday at GP, this time at the MCL level, on turf.
4th this time, could probably stand another drop in class, but seemed to prefer the turf.

Samantha Nicole posted her first work at Fair Grounds (the others have been at Stonestreet), so I assume she has joined Assman's string there.

I can't tell if it is a typo or if you just prefer to call him Assman ;)
