It was a good day at Ellis for the high-end pedigrees. Not This Time (Giant's Causeway/Miss Macy Sue), half to Liam's Map, also broke his maiden there today.

The big lug is green as grass but at least he seemed to get the idea.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

In case anyone wants to watch the De Coronado replay, I found it here - apparently there was an inquiry he survived for bumping in the stretch.

Tale of Life just won the 5th at Saratoga, a nine furlong AOC on the dirt, leading almost all the way. He's a rare Deep Impact colt racing here, and he is out of Second Happiness, by Storm Cat out of Miesque.
Pedigrees don't get much better than that. :D

That was an impressive win...he came from so far back with a turn-of-foot in the stretch like some top-class turf horse. Just ran by the whole field of some nicely-bred maidens. Looks to have a nice future. Rider Gary Stevens was pretty happy...gave a big fist pump as they hit the wire.
Is he owned by Godolphin? Coldspell, that is...not Gary. :P :D

<Sigh> Six starts, best finish was a 6th.

Never So Few (IRE) finished 8th beaten by 6 1/4 lengths, on August 22, 2016, at SARATOGA in Race 2.
Off odds: 33.75
