I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Serene Melody is running in the G2 Chilukki today, I have no idea why they are running her on the main- she prefers the turf or the poly.

Shared Account's first foal, RJ Bentley, by Bernardini made his debut 11/8 in the 9th at Aqueduct, a 1 1/16 mile race on the turf. He did little and finished last of 12.

The race was won by Stonestreet's debut gelding, Intensity, by Eskendreya - Sonorous, by Unbridled's Song, who was bred in North Carolina(I don't see many of those so thought I'd note it).

From the DRF:
The field for Aqueduct’s Friday the 13th feature may be short, but there’s no shortage of blue-blooded pedigrees in the optional claimer scheduled for 1 3/8 miles on the turf course.

The three primary contenders look to be Margano, a full brother to ill-fated 2006 Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro; Fire Away, a half-brother to four-time graded stakes winner and $1.2 million earner Mr Speaker; and Jay Gatsby, whose siblings include graded stakes winners Ecclesiastic, Teammate, and War Front, who, coincidentally, is the sire of Fire Away.

In addition, Belisarius is a full brother to Collection, whose $3 million bankroll included a win in the 2010 Hong Kong Gold Cup.

Air Spinel(JPN), 2013C. King Kamehameha(JPN) x Air Messiah(JPN)(G1 winner) by Sunday Silence(USA), won very impressively in the G2 Daily Hai Nisai Stakes 1600m turf at Kyoto on Nov 14th 2015.
He remains undefeated, 2 for 2, and becomes a legitimate candidate for the 2yo championship.
His dam Air Messiah, worthy opponent for Cesario, died in a paddock accident last year.

Both are homebreds- same connections. They own the dam- Pretti Woman.

I vote for Morse Code (by Tapit, and 1/2 to Honor Code) to have the best name I have heard in many years. I can't believe that the name wasn't already taken by another Tapit offspring.
