Thanks to @DRFRusso for pointing out that Point Given's half-brother and Arienza's (Azeri daughter) 2yo colts debut in Churchill R6.

(The colts are Congrats Given (Congrats-Turko's Turn) and Arenzano (Tapit-Arienza).)

Sail Ahoy, half to Pine Island and Point of Entry, broke his maiden going a mile at Belmont. He only won by a nose, but he went widest of all. He looks promising!

He looked green as grass. Nice win by a horse that is bred to mature late at age 3.

She was 3rd. Broke really slow and looked green down the stretch but once she got going, she made up a lot of ground. Disappointing run from Star of Kings in that race.
But, hey, the equally scarily named Ballydoyle (IRE) won the G2 Debutante on the same card. So this whole thing of naming horses after themselves isn't all bad.
Ballydoyle lost to stablemate Minding (by Galileo out of G1W Lillie Langtry) in the Moyglare Stud S (G1) at the Curragh today. Galileo fillies were 1-2-3.

I didn't see the race, but La Appassionata, Wilburn's full sister, broke her maiden first out at Churchill Downs in the 4th race.

Awww, thanks for this! I'm a huge Summer Squall fan, and I'd have missed this. No more children to follow, now it's grandkids and great grandkids. <g>
