A teenage jockey has died today at the pony races in Glenbeigh in Ireland
https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/racing ... -co-kerry/
No name has been released but the rumours on twitter are swirling that it is Jack De Bromhead, son of star trainer Henry De Bromhead. An absolute tragedy and devastating for the family and entire Irish racing community.

Coroebus has been euthanized. What a horrible weekend it’s been.

An eloquent and touching article from David Jennings that details the funeral for Jack De Bromhead

If you aren’t ready for a good cry, maybe avoid reading.

Pyledriver is out of the Arc with a “minor” soft tissue setback.
A weak Arc is made even weaker. Hopefully the ground stays good, because even with a below par effort, Baeed can still probably win.

??????????
That's certainly a shame.
But Pyledriver was nothing but a 15/1 shot for the Arc, anyway.
I don’t think that his withdrawal changes the perspective of the Arc so much.

My heartfelt condolences to everyone Across the Pond on the loss of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
She was a great friend to horse racing, and I can't imagine that Royal Ascot will ever be the same.
