She was 5th. This was only her second race, and her first run was last August. Don't know if there is an issue or if they are just taking their time with her. I know- I'm making excuses for her, but I would like to see her do well.

Sweet Promises, a 2012 filly o/o Life is Sweet by Bernardini, debuted March 7 at SA and was 5th. It was a 6 1/2 furlong sprint - here's hoping maybe she wants more distance (her pedigree agrees). However, she hasn't worked since the race. The Wygod's own her.

Rutile, Medaglia d'Oro - Set Them Free by Stop the Music, half to Giacomo, Tiago and Stanwyck, made her debut a flying come-from-behind victory in today's 5th at Santa Anita at 21/1. The 4 year old filly is bred and owned by Mr. and Mrs. Moss and trained by John Shirreffs.
