Looked like he got 5th, haven't seen the chart yet. The leaders all went wide and left him alone on the rail, but he couldn't take advantage of it. Also, he was claimed.

I'm not crazy about his name either but it could have been worse. The first name submitted was Lovininyouroven, which thankfully was rejected!

Just watched a good-looking grey colt named Kentuckian break his maiden by daylight at Golden Gate.

Looked up his pedigree and it turns out he is a son of Tiznow out of the very quick Forest Music, making him a half to 114 debut Beyer earner Maclean's Music.

This undefeated colt (2 for 2) is a full brother to Lightening Pearl(IRE).

Satono Crown: #1 horse

Satono Crown(JPN) won the G2 Yayoi Sho 2000m turf at Nakayama impressively extending his undefeated record to three. The Yoyoi Sho is a major prep for the Satsuki Sho (Japanese 2000 Guineas) and he will be sent off as one of the top favorites there.
It looks like Marju(IRE), pensioned since 2011, has sired his most prominent successor from his final crop!! 8-)
Bright Emblem(JPN) ran a huge race, too. :D

She definitely was a very nice looking foal mons but she sure got outrun today. I hate seeing Summer Birds sprint.

Gotta start somewhere, but I hope she shows up when she gets to go longer.

Asia is in Gulfstream's 9th tomorrow, for those who don't have a DRF subscription and don't have her in their VS. They've liked her for a long time and intended for her to debut at KEE last spring. She was with Ward's string at the time, but I guess something was amiss, since she didn't start until January of this year.

Thanks for the extra info. I was kind of surprised to see her debut on the lawn but obviously she doesn't mind it.

I guess the Luckys have not been a rousing success on turf overall. However, this filly's dam liked turf, so that may have been the logic behind running her on it.

I loved Asia in her debut race and thought that effort was very much validated when Celestine, the filly she beat last out, went on to win next out with ease.
