Who was?

My mother picked the wrong time to argue with me, lol - how did Ferocious run?

Not a huge fan of the winner, but he is out of a Bernardini mare …just like Immersive

Funny, the horses who ran behind Chancer didn’t do all that well in the mile MSW on 8/29….but then I think they finished behind two very good horses

Smoken Wicked, set a pretty quick pressured pace and then refused to quit in the stretch. Just one of those efforts that suggests a horse could have more to give in the future.

Ferocious ran really well. He looked done on the turn, was lugging around a bit, then got passed on the outside and suddenly re-engaged, closing along with Patrick. Apparently lost a shoe during the running. Top two both appear to be very good 2yos.

Thanks ! I’ll check the race out as soon as I can ..

I was rooting for Ferocious as a son of Flatter, so that makes me happy

I love babies, so I’m glad SAR ended on such a promising note

There is a "Racehorses as foals" thread, but I had to go to the third page of the "Breeding & Sales" section to find it. ;)

Very nice runs from the top two finishers. Chancer McPatrick mowed them all down but Ferocious tried to go with him after looking like he was finished.

So is John Kimmel now doing bloodstock work in addition to training? He is also a vet!

Shoutout to filly Casta Diva (Cupid × Dream Safari) who won the Clasico Ramon Llobet (G2) at Camarero in Puerto Rico to remain unbeaten in four starts.

Not to be confused with the white Kiwi filly Casta Diva :D This Casta Diva is a dapple gray with a dark mane.

Well I didn’t foal him out but I worked with him as a foal so if anyone wants a rooting interest, pick Brother Tony :D . He actually showed some promise in his first start, but Getaway Car will be tough to beat. It’s cool that the farm has a horse that they’ve bred in both big two year old races, with the other being Jack’s Magic Girl

Tenma (Nyquist) caught Vodka With a Twist at the wire to capture the Grade I Del Mar Debutante for Bob Baffert.
https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing ... -debutante

It's her jockey Kazushi Kimura's first G1 success at Del Mar.
And I'm now wondering if Tenma came from Tenma (Tenba) in Japanese meaning?

I’m not surprised Nooni was upset - I wasn’t impressed with her win last out

And he just took the John C. Mabee (G2) aboard big longshot Hang the Moon.

Hang the Moon is partly owned by Fanduel analyst Michael Joyce. Congratulations! He was beyond thrilled.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Gaming wins the Del Mar Futurity over McKinzie Street and Citizen Bull with Getaway Car 4th. Gaming galloped out quite a ways in front.
