I wouldn’t want to face Emily Upjohn in the Oaks, either.

Saw Baaeed win the QEII end of last year on Champion Day and he was impressive that day - really nice made individual hard to fault him.Starine wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 8:13 pmBrilliant, I would say, and ran off with his ears pricked.ThreeMustangs wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 10:26 am Baaeed was a very impressive winner of the Lockinge. Now 7 for 7.

There is talk of stretching him out now -- it is worth noting he is by Sea the Stars, the dam is a winner at 10 furlongs and produced a winner at 12 furlongs. Baaeed is certainly one of the most exciting horses in training.

Didn't get to see Lockinge in person this year but one of the impressive ones I did see was Rakti and he was on his best behaviour that day and put is a cracking time that day

Hollie Doyle is the retained rider for Nashwa’s owner, Imad Al Sagar, she’ll ride Nashwa wherever the filly goes.

Oisin is very talented, so I hope his recovery/rehabilitation goes well. It will be good to see a sober Oisin back in the saddle.

I thought when he got clear he would just sprint away. Do you think it was the ground or is a mile just a shade more than he’d like to go?

I think the mile is a suitable distance for him, as he just takes quite a while to wind up when Buick pushes the button. He always swaps leads a couple times and gets unbalanced (didn’t help that his last three races were at the very undulating Newmarket) then turns on the jets to win cozily.
However, if Modern Games is stepping up to 10f and Corebus is going for the St James’s Palace, and if he wins that, the Sussex… the 7f Prix Jean Prat in July could be right up Native Trail’s street. Appleby was able to win it with Pinatubo after the horse lost his form big time, and he’s going to have to keep all options open to keep these horses separated.

I agree that most Oasis Dream's don't want that far but Midday won G1s at 12f, didn't she?

Homeless Songs was a very impressive winner of the Irish 1000 gns at The Curragh today.
She showed a sparkling turn of foot to draw clear and win by 5 and a half lengths
Believe its the Cornation Stakes next at Royal Ascot, hopefully which she is quoted 7/4 Inspiral, 5/2 Cachet 6/1,Zellie 14/1 Prosperous Voyage7/1, Mangoustine 9/1

I can’t wait to see the Frankel files Homeless Songs and Inspriral versus each other in the Coronation..but I think Cachet will definitely have a say in the outcome.
