Anyone with eyes could see the horse was very outch and uncomfortable when his legs were being examined.

Yes I was not surprised at Todd S as he there to promote racing and handicap but Simon B as a former trainer should have known better. Maybe that is how they are directed by FanDrool management to handle any type of injury-minimize it and say it is just a precaution and the horse is fine. How they could cut away to a replay when the poor horse was so lame pulling up without a mention is just beyond clueless to me.
They’re not catering to Vets, Vet Techs, serious horse people, etc. I’m sure Bray knew something was probably up but without knowing specifics, it’s probably best to be conservative in doling out information. If Bray says, “I think Mr. Fisk broke his leg and they’ll have to surgically repair it to hope to save him”, he’d be accused of sensationalizing and with good reason since it’s just an educated guess. Last week I was watching the Dodger game. Teoscar Hernandez, that night’s right fielder, went to field a base hit while moving to his right and you could see his right foot turn unnaturally underneath him. He winced and jumped in obvious pain. As someone who has played a game or two and did what he just did, myself, the announcers, the coaches and trainer and probably Hernandez himself feared anything from a sprained ankle to a broken foot. The trainer goes out, Hernandez walks around a bit and then stayed in the game, never showed any sign of a limp and has played every inning since.
You should be doing this to ALL trainers whenever ANY horse gets pulled up. Anyway, I hope Mr Fisk has a fast recovery and I am glad that he can have surgery. Since Arrogate is an Unbridled's Song, I am always holding my breath whenever offspring of his race.
