I don't read enough Racing Post articles to know if this is commonplace and the thing they always do. I do know its happened before though, specifically last year's Irish Derby when a Coolmore horse, Sherpa, brokedown. The horse wasn't even mentioned in the post race article about the race.

I know UK racing faces a lot of public scrutiny and criticism from animal rights entities, but trying to gloss over breakdowns doesn't work well, IMHO. Ignoring it doesn't make something not exist. :(

Is Coolmore a major advertiser in the Racing Post?

The only ads I regularly see are for betting promotions/companies.

The only ads you ever really see are the standard small banners for specific races that horses sired by their stallions have won.

Does the Racing Post still publish a print edition, like our Daily Racing Form, or is it strictly online?

Yes. You can even have it delivered if you’re in the UK.

Big upset in the Prix Vermeille (G1): Snowfall is beaten by Teona.

Bolshoi Ballet was scratched from the Prix Niel (G2) because of a problem with his vaccination record:

At the Curragh, Romantic Proposal won the Flying Five S (G1) and Love was beaten in the Blandford S (G2) by La Petite Coco.

The Prix Vermeille and Flying Five went off at the same time—so it happens over there, too. Very frustrating. At least one was a sprint and you could watch most of the other.

Japanese colt Deep Bond led all the way to win the Prix Foy (G2) at Longchamp.

Jerry Hannon is known for his screaming calls at the finishes of big races. My fave is his one of Roaring Bull

Aiden O'Brien's Santa Barbara has had a bit of a setback, so Mother Earth is being re-routed to Del Mar instead.

O'Brien has a very high opinion of the horse, and I don't disagree. He has been impressive in the races I've watched and I'm sorry we won't get to see him in the Arc or even the BC Turf.

Superstar three-year-old St Mark's Basilica, who beat Arc favourite Tarnawa in the Irish Champion Stakes this month, has been retired to stud with Aidan O'Brien describing him as possibly the best horse he's ever had at Ballydoyle and Coolmore's most important stallion prospect since Galileo.
St Mark's Basilica will end his racing career as the joint top-rated horse in training and unbeaten at three following a flawless Classic campaign that saw him win the French 2,000 Guineas and French Derby, Coral-Eclipse and Irish Champion Stakes.
