Fast forward to the 1hour-12minute mark and give it a listen for 5 minutes or so, nothing earth shattering, just enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, I can't get it to play for me. Also, I sure am glad to see you back here! We've been missing your posts for too long.

I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Awesome. Thank you so much for that. I could not agree more with regard to their sentiments concerning older horses. They hit the nail on the head - "common sense" - the absolute key when considering running these senior racers. I've seen some seemingly unnecessary retirements here in the east (thanks NYRA) due to the restrictions now placed on 10+ year olds. BTW, I just put Coalinga Hills in my War Horse database a few weeks back! Good for her.

Thanks again stark - much appreciated!

If this place goes down, the last hope for many Camarero racers will be erased. Unfortunate that so many big named farms and breeders here in the states cannot or will not commit to help on a regular basis - even a little bit - some of the desperate souls that they created. Walking the shedrow at Camarero a few years back was tantamount to walking through a Civil war field hospital - ugly. Not to say that many horses did not appear to be okay for racing, but many looked damaged - mentally and physically. Hope CTA can weather through this storm...

Yep, he's always been a pretty good hard trying horse. We should be grateful that he escaped the clutches of Jorge Navarro. I think he was thrown in a little deep in the Lukas Classic against Mind Your Biscuits and Rated R Superstar, but managed to persevere. He needs a soft landing somewhere.

Pretty sure she finished last. I was watching her and then I just saw a jockey flying off the horse on the lead. Had to wait for the replay to see that Little Four ducked out and dumped him. I think he is okay, they said he got up.

Not that I condone starting careers at 8 years old, but I know Jim and Brenda Tucker to be good people who would not run this girl if she were not in the best of condition. They'll watch her closely. Also Ricardo Barrios is good with older horses - I know all of these folks from my Hazel Park days.

She's got a record of 84-16-17-11-0 $208,519 in TB-only races. She seems to have really found her niche in those mixed races though, all 4 have been in the last 2 months. Prior to that she was winless since 2020.
10yo g Rough Sea (Include - Sea Song's Grace, by Elusive Quality), 1st at Monmouth (7/30/23). 46 - 13-8-9, $461,314. SW.
Deemed too old to run in NYRA but he's now 4-2-1 in 8 starts on the year.
11yo g Boldlee (Cosmonaut - With Impunity, by Personal Flag), 1st at Finger Lakes (7/24/23). 50- 22-8-8, $243,470.
His 6th consecutive win. All 22 of his lifetime wins have came at Finger Lakes, he's gotta be up there for most races won at the track by now.
