If Campanelle has had a pony escort her to the post before, even at Royal Ascot, why didn't she have one today?
Did the Deauville officials refuse to let her have one? Did they know that would spoil the chances of the American raider?

I didn't make it to my TV at dawn to watch, unfortunately. Is there somewhere that has a replay of the race available...no charge? TIA.

Yay for the son of Kingman!!!
Palace Pier(GB) became the third horse in history to win the Jacques le Marois twice following Spinning World(USA) (1996-1997) and Miesque(USA) (1987-1988).
John Gosden said Palace Pier was only about 80% of his peak after missing some training work.

It would be wonderful if those three made it to Del Mar for The Mile (yeah, I REFUSE to call it The "Fanduel" Mile ).

St Mark's Basilica is out of the Juddmonte International after throwing a front shoe on the gallops, that struck one of his hind legs. The leg has since developed an infection and he needed antibiotics. They are hopefully he'll be good to go for the Irish Champion. So now Love will go in his place.

I was checking the times for the races at York tomorrow; the International is scheduled to go at 3:35 PM their time. What time will that be US Eastern or Pacific time? TIA.
The race before it is the G2 Great Voltigeur for 3yo males and it has some beautifully-bred boys; 2 Camelots, 2 Dubawis, 2 Galileos, 1 Sea the Stars and 1 Teofilo.

UK is usually 6 hrs ahead of EST. Around the time changes, it can get a bit wonky

A six-hour difference would make post time 9:35 AM EST, or 6:35 AM for this Left Coaster. Ugh...that is a bit too early for me.

Just to clarify, since there seems to be a lot of fuzzy, if not outright wrong, math in play here .... there is a FIVE hour difference between Eastern Daylight Time and British Summer Time. A 3:35 p.m. race in the UK or Ireland goes off at 10:35 a.m. on the East Coast. The six-hour difference comes into play for racing in France, which is one hour ahead of British time.

Yep for anyone trying to convert time and having a hard time. You can go open google chrome and type local race time the city/country to the city/state you are in and it will tell you when it is.
Like for example, using the above since it was asked about, enter: 3:35pm York UK to Los Angeles California
The result is:
3:35 PM Wednesday, in York, UK is
7:35 AM Wednesday, in Los Angeles, CA
Now if I typed in: 3:35pm York UK to New York NY
The results is:
3:35 PM Wednesday, in York, UK is
10:35 AM Wednesday, in New York, NY

Ah, well that is why I was wrong. Was thinking it was same as Italy which I guess is like France.WaquoitNBroadBrush wrote: ↑Tue Aug 17, 2021 3:42 pm Just to clarify, since there seems to be a lot of fuzzy, if not outright wrong, math in play here .... there is a FIVE hour difference between Eastern Daylight Time and British Summer Time.
