She was a bit headstrong at the start but settled nicely afterwards. Really great to see! Can't wait to see what she does next, what an amazing filly!

Wow, she was a completely different animal in this race! Major kudos to her trainers/etc for all the work they've put into her. Hopefully it pays off and she puts all that talent to good use!

Sidenote, if I was one of the jockeys breaking outside of her I probably would have been sweating buckets, lol.

Nice!
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Yusuke Yamaguchi has tweeted today:

‘’She might run in the G2 Keio Hai Nisai Stakes 1400m turf at Tokyo on Nov 7th next.’’
‘’A left-handed, one-turn and large oval are what she may want to see for now. I think it’s way too early to send her to right-handed Hanshin Course (where the G1 Hanshin Juvevile Fillies, championship event for 2yo fillies in Japan, will be run in December).
If she becomes nervous following yesterday’s race, she will be given a full rest until next year then’’.

It's clear they'll do the best for here. Best wishes from California for her!

So good to see such a positive, uplifting story. Reframe's connections are a model of how to react to a horse who is scared, confused and hurting about its job. It's thrilling that she ran to victory her first time back.

I was thinking of her on Sunday and I am SO glad it all went well!
Really looking forward to seeing her next race. Something tells me she's going to have a brilliant and long career, with the thoughtful management of her they've shown so far. And I think it's wise to keep her in a G2 on a left-handed Tokyo course as opposed to sending her straight to the G1 in Hanshin.

Reframe(USA) has been entered for the G2 Keio Hai Nisai Stakes for tomorrow!
Posttime: 15:35 p.m. (01.35 a.m. Nov 7th EST or 22:35 p.m. Nov 6th PST)

I suspect that she will be sent off the top choice of the public.
Good luck to her!!!

Uh she just tried to take a nap in the walking ring.... XD

Just kidding, she did try to lay down probably to roll while she was already saddled.

She lost her weight by 8 kilograms.

For not being able to get clear until late she closed well to finish 5th, I thought she was going to finish further back because she had nowhere to go. But she picked it up once able to get a clear run.

Again a very nice race by her and she even was covered in the field this time and behind horses without getting too anxious. I can't wait to see how she'll be doing going forward. What a sweet filly! She'll get them next time!

I'm proud of her. She broke well, looked pretty comfortable midpack, seemed to keep her cool in traffic, and closed really well. She had every opportunity to toss in the towel and call it quits down the strech but kept pluggin. Excellent race, just ran out of track. ;)

Yusuke Yamaguchi (owner) has tweeted to confirm:
''She had lost weight by eight kilograms to race in two weeks after her last time out.''
''She tried to take a nap (while she was waking in the paddock). Also she refused to enter the starting gate.''
''Was she lacking liveliness a little bit today?''
''But I'm not pessimistic. We had a good experience today.''
