Miss Sakamoto f. More Than Ready x Wonder Brew

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/She_Blind ... th_Science

"Although viewed as a success in the United States, peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 2 weeks at No. 1 in Canada's RPM Magazine, [She Blinded Me with Science] barely managed to score among the Top 60 in Dolby's native United Kingdom, peaking at No. 56 in the UK Singles Chart in 1983."

I have never once heard this before.

My friend has a share in this horse. It's her first filly she's bought into and she's quite excited

Is Iva Toguri owned by Nick Alexander? He also recently campaigned a nice filly named Violette Szabo, named for a WW2 heroine who spied for the Allies in occupied France and was eventually captured and shot.

Somekindamagician g. Street Magician x Love Is Kind

I find it amusing because it reminds me of a line of dialogue from the movie Arsenic and Old Lace - Jonathan says, "...and something of a magician!" when referring to another character. This line of dialogue is notable because it is very obviously dubbed over.

Cheaperthandivorce won the Gr.3 Thompson Handicap in New Zealand today. She is the first foal from G1 winning mare Boundless.

"The amusing moniker originates from a trip to the Inglis Broodmare Sale in 2011 where Boundless was being offered at auction to dissolve her racing partnership.
Cherry Taylor, who retained a share in Boundless after selling her as a yearling, was keen to buy the mare to add to the Trelawney Stud broodmare band.
“Brent (Husband) was at the sales and had been trying to buy a broodmare all day but hadn’t been able to,” Cherry Taylor recalled.
“He went to A$700,000 to get Boundless, which was a lot of money, and as he walked out of the ring someone commented to him that it was a lot to spend on a broodmare and Brent replied with ‘it’s cheaper than divorce’.”

Well, that's appropriate! I saw a daughter of the much loved and ill-fated Effinex yesterday run in the Empire Distaff at Belmont. I think this is the first offspring I've seen of his. She didn't do much running, only beating two of nine other fillies and mares.

Her name is " Byhubbyhellomoney".🤗

This one could be amusing or horrible. I find it more on the amusing side. I was looking at Knicks Go pedigree and saw his fifth dam.

Warmed Bottom, 1968 mare (Hitting Away - Tanned)

Not sure how many of you will get this reference but when I saw this horse I immediately thought of Trixie Tang screaming "TELL ME I'M PRETTY!!!!" on an old episode of Fairly OddParents.
