DEL MAR, Calif. (Oct. 31, 2021) - The Rood & Riddle Breeders’ Cup Post-Position Draw for the 2021 Breeders’ Cup World Championships will be shown live on Monday, Nov. 1 from Del Mar racetrack in Del Mar, California, beginning at 2:30 p.m. PT / 5:30 p.m. ET.

All 14 races will be drawn and announced live on TVG, along with BreedersCup.com, the Breeders’ Cup mobile app, and Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Todd Pletcher said during a TVG interview that Mind Control has spiked a temp, and his bloodwork shows elevated white cell count. He will not run on Saturday.
Shipping cross-country is not easy on horses, and trainers sweat out the days afterward, looking for signs of "shipping fever." :(

I love this colt.....terrible timing; hopefully he’ll be ok..It seems like so many horses have had issues this close to the BC

Also, apparently Steve Asmussen has replaced Ricardo Santana with Joel Rosario on Echo Zulu; Santana is in a deep, deep slump. It looks like he’ll stay on Max Player because Rosario is riding Knicks Go; to be honest, Santana’s slump concerns me...

Field sizes between the dirt and turf races are very stark this year. Not sure how to unpack it.

I think these are the shortest fields for the filly dirt races we've seen in a while. The boys not so much.

What a crazy short field for the Juvenile Fillies!
