I own a share in Chasing Time. He's improving with every race and I was quite excited about his second place. I'm hoping he finally breaks his maiden next time out

Moonlight d'oro ran 2nd by a length in the Seashell Stakes. Stumbled at the start, but I'm still very happy. She's a game and gritty filly. I was afraid she'd do worse because of how tired she kept getting in works.
Social Dilemma was 2nd in her Allowance race at Churchill Downs. Maybe back to stakes next start?

Chasing Time was fourth in his first race which was won by howling time(not this time). Howling time just won a stakes race and my horse Chasing Time was second last out. Makes me excited for the future

Going to Vegas finished 11th(second from last) in the Filly and Mare Turf after setting the pace
Got Stormy finished 5th in the Mile. Made a bid 4w, but flattened per chart.

Tizamagician finished a gritty 2nd in the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (aka Marathon G2). He tried to lead from the front and got caught a bit. Still love this boy.
Vertical Threat was taken out by Rough Entry backing up in the Sunshine Stakes and clipped heels before going down and breaking his shoulder. He and Rough Entry were euthanized. RIP.

He had some bone bruising after he started training in the US and went to the farm for a while. It sounds like he’s getting close to a race, though.

Forbidden Kingdom is indeed targeting the Bob Hope. I’m flying down to go watch him.

Each injury is different, each horse is different so can't say that every horse could but horses that have had screws inserted can return to racing (the screws are removed after the fracture heals enough, depending on injury usually in 2-3 months). Proud Citizen is one that had screws inserted for a fractured shin and he returned to racing about a little less than a year after his injury.

We are usually told what the prognosis is for a return to racing for a particular treatment for a type of injury. But, as noted, every horse is different and we have no say in what happens with the horse. That is one of the downsides of MRH. You buy into the LLC and you are part of the LLC until it is dissolved. You may disagree with a treatment, you may want 'out' of owning the horse but you are pretty much stuck. Currently, there is no mechanism for selling one's micro shares.

MRH has a staff vet and they consult with top vets at top hospitals. I may not be happy about the injury or need for treatment, I'm also happy that I paid some small amount (overall) and that gets me usually two years. It's not like the $$ paid for the horse's extended medical treatment is 'free' but MRH doesn't come back to me and ask for more $$. I just may not get much or any money when the horse's LLC is dissolved.

MRH has its positives and negatives for sure.
