I see that Fox Sports has the TV rights to the big race.

Who will the announcers be?

thanks.

One of the reasons I'm asking is because their announcement lists the race as a grueling mile and a half ;)
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

I'm more interested in the fact that they didn't bother to pay a human to write or fact-check that article.

For years, TVG/FanDrool has shown the racing from Saratoga, but I wonder if the contract with Fox will prevent them from doing that. Or would this Fox deal only apply to the Belmont and other stakes that day?

Got the answer to my question. FX2 is now showing the first race from Saratoga...and FanDrool isn't. The Saratoga race isn't even showing up on FD's 'upcoming races' list.
That is a huge change. TVG had shown Saratoga for YEARS, seemingly a willing partner with NYRA. Now FanDrool is locked out? Wow.
Well, Fox (and NYRA's analysts) had lost Churchill to FanDrool. Guess we shouldn't be surprised that NYRA isn't so willing to share anymore.

An endless steam of talking heads that all sound like they know what they're talkinabout but with conflicting opinions.

Some technical difficulties snuck in.

What happened to old blue eyes?

Fluff pieces were okay.

Bottom line, sorry but I wasn't overwhelmed when comparing the product to the daily grind at TVG.
