I never knew her story, I knew the ending was bad. I don't know how long I've know that, it feels like something I've always known, the same with Lamb Chop. Anyway, it was a pretty good read. She certainly was tiny.

Too bad they didn’t have the surgical fusion technique and better aesthetics, recovery pools etc that we have today over 50 years later-same goes for Ruffian -they may had a different outcome. My Dad used to talk about Dark Mirage with reverence. What a filly. RIP.
