Swan's Way (8 wins in 81 starts, all at Suffolk, Rockingham and the fairs, raced through age 15.)
He was supposedly a Virgin Islands-bred, as his origin was given as (VI) rather than (VA) throughout his career, but his breeder was Paul Mellon, who had plenty of Virginia-breds and no other VI-breds, as far as I know, other than Swan's Way, so maybe this is just a clerical/typographical error that never got corrected.
