Fundraisers for Rescues

There are a lot of rescues that hold fundraisers online, but they don't always get a lot of press. I thought it would be nice to keep track of some of them here, since many of them are auctioning items that a lot of us would love to have.

Edit: I think it's important to list the end date if it's an auction, so people know not to keep looking :D

Thank you for doing this! I've thought about it, but never had time to do it.

I keep seeing auctions with low bids on items because not enough people know about them. Drives me crazy :D

From December 8th to 15th, the Kentucky Equine Humane Center is having an eBay halter auction (they're calling it a Bridle Shower hehe) with the following halters:

Astrology, Intercontinental, Cigar, Storm Cat, Cowboy Cal, To Honor and Serve, Orb, Midnight Lute, Thunder Gulch, Serena’s Song, and Smart Strike

You can find them starting Dec 8 by entering KyEHC Thoroughbred Race in the search box on eBay. I'll try to remember to put the direct link up here once the auctions start.

Here's the link to the halter auction. The starting bids are a little high, but they have some nice ones that you don't see all the time.

Wanted to post a link for the Exceller Fund's Christmas in July ornament sale - http://www.specialhorses.org/fundraiser ... july-2014/. It wraps up August 5, so there's still some time to start your Christmas shopping for a good cause.
