Arab horse estate sale - sell or go to slaughter

The owner of Wind Crystal Farms in Decatur, TX has died. His heard of 60 Arabian and half Arabian horses are for sale. Prices ranging from $100 - $500. Any horses left after 30 days (from yesterday?) will be sent for slaughter. Contact Lincoln Golike for pricing and farm visits 903-818-8523.

Hope that those final four also found a home. From the info on the above website, all horses needed to be gone by Sunday February 1.

Glad they landed somewhere.
Now if only someone could help out the six matching white Arabs that some POS low-life circus dumped at Cranberry Sale Stable in NJ. Headed to Camelot auction tonight. There is a robust effort to save them taking place. I would love to know the name of the circus that dumped them.

The only positive thing to be said about this circus whoever they are, at least they didn't sell them directly to a meat buyer. This way at least there's hope.

Those horses look like they may have been a "Liberty" act, where a group of horses (usually pretty, matched white or grey) do tricks in unison while "at liberty" in a ring.
Whoever takes one home may find they have a horse who does some flashy tricks (quick turns, spins or rearing) with just visual signals.

Nice bunch of horses there, they look wonderful, and I agree - they are probably trained up nicely. Why the 'circus' simply couldn't reach out to a horse group to find them homes, I will never understand.
