Video replay of Debutante Stakes win by
Sunny Skies. First quarter in 21.48. This filly likes to run fast! Marquetry is broodmare sire, so I guess that makes sense.

Untamed Domain had a really nice maiden win in race #3 at Saratoga today. Trailed the field, checked hard while moving up along the rail on the backstretch and lost some ground, but moved to the outside on the far turn and just reeled in the leaders. Looked good. Winner for Graham Motion.

I know this is Animal Kingdom's thread, but Ranier should have won this race. Poor guy did everything but paint arrows on the lawn. Once he sees daylight, his turn of foot was incredible. The comments on the Twitter thread are warranted IMHO.

Should start a Aus/NZ racing thread
Hugh Bowman is being questioned regarding his decision making on Ranier, not the first time his riding has been questioned when Winx is racing

What is being implied?

Hugh Bowman has been "severely reprimanded" for his ride aboard Ranier (2nd by a head) yesterday
https://www.racing.com/news/2018-10-06/ ... for-bowman
Bowman admitted to what everyone thought after last years Cox Plate that he was "riding cautiously" making sure he wouldn't do anything that could possibly get a suspension and miss the ride on Winx
