Angiolo (ARG) has had 2 winners so far in October:

Andai (ARG) broke her maiden by 2 1/2 on 10/1 at San Isidro. Video: https://youtu.be/A7M-uxOv6IE

Mary Camille (ARG) won a 1200m conditional race at La Plata on 10/5. Video: https://youtu.be/WcEliRlIZvs

He's got a couple of runners today and several in the upcoming days.

Not to be out done by his son, Grand Reward also had a winner yesterday. Code of Honor (ARG) won a 1400m maiden race by a half length!

It was an Angiolo (ARG) exacta in the 6th at La Plata Tuesday! It was Apricot Nectar (ARG) defeating Absolute Truth (ARG) by a 1/2 length, after a thrilling stretch run! https://youtu.be/laH6LH4hDUM

His only other runner for the day, Antique Song (ARG), just got nipped at the wire for the win in an 1100m maiden race.

Updates from some of the more obscure Argentine tracks:

Desquitado (ARG) is entered in the Handicap Dia De La Madre (1600m) at Rio Cuarto on October 16.

A Piacere (ARG), who was last seen on the "big" tracks in 2015, won a 625 m especial at Hipodromo Macachin on October 1. There are some good photos of him in this article: http://www.contactohipico.com.ar/macach ... bre17.html

El Vodevil (ARG), last seen at Palermo in July, was 3rd in 1400m especial at Tucuman on October 1.

El Vodevil (ARG) was 5th in the Clasico Rumbo Al Batalla at Hipodromo Tucuman on September 3.

Grand Notoria (ARG), in between a win and a third at Palermo, ventured out to Santa Rosa on August 20 to finish 3rd in the Clasico Dia Del Nino (700m).

Queen's Fate, 2YO daughter of Shukriya (by GR), won the 5th race at Keeneland, a 1 1/16 turf maiden. She is now 2-1-0-1, with earnings of $36,220.

One race prior, Miner's Cat, out of Grand's full sister Pure Symmetry, won a 7 furlong allowance on the main track. Her record is now 12-3-1-1, with earnings of $180,148. (It sure was nice seeing those green and yellow silks!)

Anyone who managed to hit the "Serena connection" daily double was rewarded with $63.60! :D

I just saw that Sassagoula Springs (ARG) was euthanized yesterday. She had developed laminitis, according to Turf Diario. I really thought she was going to be ok... :cry:

Smart Choice (ARG) was running against older males again and she finished 2nd (by 3 lengths) in the G2 Presidente de la Republica! The winner, Sensacionale, completed the 2400m distance in an impressive 2:24.93! The 4YO filly is now 9-5-2-0 lifetime (her only worse than 4th place finish came in this year's Gran Premio Latinoamericano (G1) in Chile against open company).
Great Champs (ARG) was 8th.
Gitano Guapo (ARG) was 11th.
