Got Thunder ran a disappointing race. Owners had high hopes. Trainer had been pointing to this race (longer). Too soon for a drop in class. He needs to be put into the race from the get go. Surface change worth considering. Sadler will provide him every chance.

Agree jockey needs to keep him up with the field vs letting him drop way back and get a lot of dirt in his face. Maybe that would help, I would consider a synthetic or turf race next.

It seems that if you can get them the the races ( % of starters to foals is quite low) they are competitive. Low percentage of starters so far should not be surprising given that Arrogate did not start until April of his 3 year old season.
