She's nomimated to a G3 on turf next weekend at Keeneland. Maybe that was the backup plan if the turf coarse wasn't firm today. Just a guess.

I think your guess is a good one. It was my thought exactly. And she has not won a graded stakes yet, so it makes sense to try a G3 rather than keep coming up short in G1s. I think the mile and 1/16 may be a better distance for her, too.

GENERATOR won a maiden claiming race for 2 year olds today at Keeneland. Race #4. He went from last to first into slow fractions. His record is now 2-1-0-0. Much better performance than his debut race was.

HARD N"SWEET won race #1 at Fort Erie Racetrack today. His record is now 6-2-1-0.

SILVER STATE dominant winner of his comeback allowance race at Keeneland race #8. Sat back in 6th early, found a seam coming off the turn and just ran by them all. Won by 5 or 6, I guess. This was off a 7 month layoff. Nice to see! Appeared he wasn't too fond of having his head sponged off after the race. His record is now 6-2-2-1.

Thanks for posting. I missed the race and see he won, but not charts out yet. Glad he did so well. Wonder if G1 Clark or G1 Cigar Mile are possible for him.

!!!! That's great! I have often felt Hard Spun deserves to have a stakes race named after him. I thought maybe Turfway, since he won two stakes prep races there and beat Street Sense in one of them...but a stakes in PA makes sense, too, since he was a PA bred, though he never ran at that particular track. Delaware Park should have one. He was based there and started his career there.

SILVER STATE got a 97 Beyer speed figure for his win yesterday. I do believe that is far better than any number he has run before.
