Going To Vegas (4 year old filly) won the 10F 100K grade 3 Santa Ana Stakes on turf today at Santa Anita. Time of race was 2:00:80. This was good because Going To Vegas recently finished second in three straight graded stakes races. I am glad that she finally won one.

Goldini (3 year old colt) finished 2nd in a 1 mile 36K starter optional claiming race on turf at Santa Anita Park yesterday. Goldini looked good and was gaining on the winner only to finish a half length behind. The winner's time was 1:35 and change. I watched that race and feel that Goldini can be competitive in allowance company and maybe even stakes races. I am sure that his connections will continue to run Goldini in starter races as long as he can (until he wins), but barring injury, I think he should have a pretty good future. Stay healthy Goldini.

Mailman Money (4 year old colt) finished second in a 1 mile 106K AOC race yesterday. Time of race was 1:34.53. I have had my eye on Mailman Money for some time now, expecting him to win a stakes race sometime, graded or otherwise. W. Brett Calhoun , who is his trainer, has done pretty well with sons of Goldencents having trained millionaires By My Standards and Mr. Money.
