KEEP IT EASY easily won the Ed Brown Stakes (race #6) at Churchill by 5 1/4 lengths today in an excellent time of 1:15:02 for the 6 1/2 furlongs, coming off a 3-month layoff. His record is now 4-2-0-0.

I'M MCDREAMY won race # 5 at Turfway Park rather easily by 5 1/2 lengths on Saturday, December 7. His record is now 3-1-0-2.

BUILT won the 1-1/16 mile Gunrunner Stakes (Race #7) at the Fairgrounds today by 6 3/4 lengths. Earned 10 points to the KD. His record is now 3-2-0-1. He is the 109th stakes winner for Hard Spun! Interesting thing is that the longer he ran, the faster he ran. His quarters were 24.64; 24.59; 24.54; and 23.50. His final 16th was 6.26 which is slower, but he was winning by over 6 lengths, and geared down by that point, as the chart indicates. His broodmare sire is Curlin, so he should have no problem with distance. Hard Spun was no slouch with distance either.

I love HS so much. Not only is he handsome, but produces nice runners!
